As a teenager, D.B.L. had already landed lead spots in commercials for Pepsi, Cheerios, Footlocker, and Iron Kids Bread with Jennifer Love Hewitt. He performed as a singer and dancer on “The People’s Choice Awards” with pop singer Brandy, and also performed in the boy band MIXX, created by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and eldest brother of Michael Jackson, Jackie Jackson. D.B.L. also collaborated with Jackson on many compositions.

Donny B. Lord’s only interest isn’t music. He also commenced an acting career, co-starring as the young Hank Gathers opposite the late legendary actress Nell Carter in “Final Shot: The Hank Gathers Story”, and also starred as an Ethiopian prince in the now syndicated television sitcom “Designing Women”.

Currently, D.B.L. is in the studio working on his new album. As his career reaches new heights of achievement and accomplishment, D.B.L.’s commitment to growth remains the same. “When I stay humble and listen powerfully, I stay in constant motion of evolution and fulfillment,” he says. “I am committed to creating new possibilities everyday in life, music and art.”
